Washington DC Trip 1 - Move on to Washington DC Trip 2
We took a short four day trip to Washington, DC in 2002 and stayed in at the quaint Dupont at the Circle bed and breakfast. This was the only trip that we didn't drive or rent a car. In DC, you don't need it. The Metro takes you everywhere you want to go and we walked more than on any other trip we have taken. We plan to visit again soon to tour the Smithsonian, visit Mount Vernon and the Shenandoah Valley.
