New Mexico Trip 2
After our 2007 trip to the Southwest, we couldn't wait
to go back. Again, we combined a business trip to Albuquerque
with a vacation to see a little more of New Mexico.
On this trip, we had a day in Santa Fe, then two days at the relaxing
Ojo Caliente Resort Mineral Springs & Spa. After the spa, we drove to
Los Alamos, where we visited the Bradbury Science Museum that houses the
Manhattan Project displays. Of course that is where the atomic bomb was
developed and later tested at White Sands, about 200 miles south of Los
Alamos. The last 3 days of our trip were spent on business, half day for
3 days, so we had plenty of time to be out and about in Albuquerque. |
