Cliff's Photo Tips 2 - Move on to Cliff's Photo Tips 3

This section features some tips and techniques that can help create interesting photographs. Most of these photos were taken with my Nikon D5600 DSLR, which is the camera I typically use when traveling. For those unexpected opportunities when I don't have my camera, I shoot with my iPhone. It's not loaded with features, but it does nice job. Remember, it's more about what you do than what you use.

1. Oregon Coast - Tip: Look for unusual conditions, like this misty morning on the coast.
2. Pensacola Beach, FL - Tip: Look for opportunities to shoot backlit scenes & close-ups for dramatic effect.

1. Panama City Beach, FL - Tip: Watch for close-up opportunities.
2. Grand Teton NP, WY - Tip: Include the highway from a low angle to emphasize a driving vacation.

1. Outer Banks, NC - Tip: Look for contrasting scenes, like this marsh pond framed by surrounding trees.
2. Jackson, WY - Tip: Wait around for the sun to go down for dramatic shots.
